Jed Nussbaum

Founder & Managing Partner, Nut Tree Capital Management

Jed Nussbaum founded Nut Tree Capital in June 2015. Prior to that he had been a partner at Redwood Capital, a $5+ billion long-biased credit fund, since 2010. At Redwood, Mr. Nussbaum was responsible for a wide range of industries and also played a key role in hiring and developing Redwood’s analyst team. From 2013 until his departure in February 2015, Mr. Nussbaum was also the Deputy Portfolio Manager of Redwood Opportunity Fund. Prior to joining Redwood in 2003, he worked in the mezzanine debt group at Whitney & Co. (1999-2001) and in the High Yield Finance department at Chase Securities Inc. Mr. Nussbaum holds an M.B.A.from Harvard Business School and a B.A. magna cum laude from Tufts University.
